Listen
I sit down with clients and product owners and turn spoken requirements into specs we can act on: the business process first, the technology second.
I’m Farid Zam, a software engineer from Semarang, Indonesia. I architect web apps that scale, tune the queries behind them, and wire up payments that never charge twice.

Good software feels effortless to the people using it and stays calm for the people running it. I design the architecture, write both sides of the wire, and make sure data, money and deadlines land exactly where they should.
One engineer from the first requirement to the final deploy. I translate spoken ideas into architecture, then architecture into products that hold up in production.
02Selected work
Three products across three industries, each one built end to end.
03How I work
A process strict enough to keep things moving and flexible enough to adapt when reality shows up.
Four steps. No shortcuts.
01Discovery
I sit down with clients and product owners and turn spoken requirements into specs we can act on: the business process first, the technology second.
02Design
I choose the architecture that fits the goal, not the trend: data models, service boundaries, and the transactional guarantees that money needs.
03Production
Front end and back end, typed end to end. Aggregations tuned, payment flows made idempotent, legacy code refactored before it bites, with AI-assisted workflows to move faster without cutting corners.
04Launch
Tested and validated before anything goes live, released through a deployment pipeline, then monitored and maintained long after launch day.
